Senigallia becomes the living room of the ninth art

The Hugo Pratt Comics Award is the international prize dedicated to the Venetian master, creator of Corto Maltese, who lived and worked in Senigallia for many years. Each edition brings together authors, publishers and comics enthusiasts from across Europe for exhibitions, talks and a gala prize ceremony.

The main evenings are held at the Rocca Roveresca or Piazza Garibaldi — five minutes on foot from Loft Pisacane27. The programme includes temporary exhibitions, publisher presentations, film screenings and the closing awards ceremony.

Many fringe events are free to attend: street-level exhibitions across the historic centre, author meet-and-greets in public squares, and markets for comics and illustration.
