A registered Italian transitional lease in Senigallia, from one to eighteen months: Loft Pisacane27 is furnished, on fibre broadband, in the old town ten minutes from the sea.
Italian law has a lease made exactly for this: the contratto di locazione transitoria, under article 5 of law 431/1998, covering a temporary need of the landlord or the tenant. It runs from one month to a maximum of eighteen (ministerial decree of 16 January 2017) — the middle ground between a nightly holiday let and the standard four-plus-four lease that ties you down for years.
One condition matters: the temporary need must be stated in the contract and backed by a document — an employer's letter for a secondment, a fixed-term work contract, enrolment on a course, building work on your own home. Without it the contract automatically converts into a four-plus-four. If you have no documentable need this is not the right form, but there is still a way: you stay under a holiday let, with a dedicated rate for long periods. Registration with the Italian Revenue Agency is due within thirty days — we handle it.
Loft Pisacane27 is the practical part: 45 m² furnished in Via Carlo Pisacane 27, sleeping up to four, with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and fibre-optic Wi-Fi — what you need to work remotely without thinking about it. And Senigallia holds up in every season: in summer the Spiaggia di Velluto is a ten-minute walk, in winter the old town empties and slows down, with the Foro Annonario market and the cafés still there. The station is 5-10 minutes away and Ancona is twenty-five minutes by train: for a few months of remote work it is a convenient base and a place worth being in once the laptop closes.
«Not a holiday and not a four-year lease: the right length for a secondment, a season of remote work, a house being rebuilt.»

Slower and easier to live in: the old town empties, the pace drops, and the Foro Annonario market, the shops and the cafés stay open. For remote work it is the best time of year.
