August is dominated by the Summer Jamboree, one of the world's biggest rock'n'roll and swing festivals: the old town becomes a 1940s-50s set with concerts, dancers, vintage cars and markets. Thousands of visitors from around the world.
At Ferragosto (15 August), beach, music and fireworks over the sea late into the night. By day the sea is warm (26°C) and the Velvet Beach is buzzing. Everything is walkable from the Loft Pisacane27, in the old town: beach, Rocca Roveresca, Foro Annonario and Piazza Garibaldi are minutes away. The Summer Jamboree takes place right here, around the loft.
